The annual Associates Giving Campaign at Hendricks Regional Health Foundation is focused on raising funds for the 2022 HRH Foundation Grants Program which will help address the greatest needs of our patients and associates.
Twice every year, the HRH Foundation reviews grant applications from HRH departments. Each request supports a program, project, equipment or services for HRH and our patients. Since this program began in 2011, the Foundation has awarded more than $630,000 for 135 projects. It has positively impacted nearly every HRH department in some way, which means our patients have also benefitted.
The HRH Foundation is looking to build on this tremendous success. As part of its annual giving campaign, the Foundation is asking associate to donate to the grants program. Recent examples for how the program has benefitted HRH and our patients include NicView cameras in the CBC, PT equipment for enMotion, a digital piano for Cypress Manor, and hands-only CPR manikins for Nursing Administration.
Earlier in 2021, Steve Wagner, HRH director of security, successfully applied for a grant to outfit each of HRH’s 28 security officers with vests. “Our security staff is tasked with managing increasingly hostile situations on a more frequent basis,” said Steve. “The grant we received rewards the loyalty and courage of our security team who respond to all threats without regard for their own safety. The purchase of these vests allows our officers to continue to serve and fulfill their duties with increased confidence in their own safety and the safety of others.”
“Our Foundation is becoming more and more important to HRH,” said HRH President & CEO Kevin Speer. “In a day and age when funding and payment sources are really being pushed and strained, our Foundation is a source of resources to help pay for programs we otherwise might not be able to do.”
The 2021 HRH Foundation Associate Campaign is now underway through October 31, 2021.

Why should I give to the HRH Foundation?
100% of your tax-deductible contribution will help fund the 2022 Foundation Grants Program to address the greatest needs of our patients and associates. If you wish to give to a specific fund or designation other than the Foundation Grants Program, please note that when making your contribution.
Am I already contributing via payroll deduction?
Please check your pay slip in Workday. Within the “Post-Tax Deductions” section you will see “Foundation” and/or “Heart of Hendricks” listed along with your pay period and YTD deduction amounts.
How do I renew, cancel, make changes, or start payroll deductions?
This year we will automatically renew existing your payroll deductions unless you request otherwise prior to Oct. 31. Click here to complete the payroll deduction form to start making payroll deductions, or to discontinue / change your existing payroll deductions. When will payroll deductions begin?
All ongoing payroll deductions associated with the 2021 Associate Giving Campaign will begin on your Nov. 18, 2021 paycheck.
When will I receive my campaign gifts?
You will receive an acknowledgement letter in the mail in early November which will include your applicable campaign gift(s) such as the limited edition felt magnet pennant.
How will I be recognized for my contribution?
Unless you designate your gift as “anonymous”, all associate campaign donors who give any amount will be listed on the new HRH Foundation Donor Walls located at HRH Danville and HRH Brownsburg Hospitals throughout 2022. We will also mail each donor small recognition gift(s) based on their giving amount.
How can I give other than payroll deduction?
Please visit SupportHendricks.org/Give2021 no later than Oct. 31 to contribute using your credit card, to donate PTO hours, or to make a new payroll deduction pledge. You may also download and print a form if you wish to pay by check or cash.
